Oil Tank Inspections
Chalder Engineering Ltd can carry out any commercial oil tank inspections. All our engineers are OFTEC registered and fully trained to carry out annual inspections to ensure your oil tanks are kept in a safe and reliable condition.
As we’re sure you are aware, it is now a legal requirement to have bunded tanks at all commercial installations, as well as industrial, agricultural, institutional and most domestic sites.
We can undertake inspections at sites such as schools, campsites, hospitals, office blocks, restaurants and many others. One of our engineers will attend your premises to undertake a risk assessment on your tank and related pipe-works.
A written report will then be prepared to identify any areas where the installation fails to meet the current regulations.
This will then be presented to you and any repair work you may wish us to undertake can then be arranged. Upon completion of this work, a certificate giving the date of the successful inspection will be issued.
To ensure your tank is continually safe, you may wish to become one of our many contracted customers. Just before the anniversary of your first inspection, we will contact you to arrange for your tank’s next check.
